Note: In 1895, there was a rift between the SAAA and the Scottish Cyclists'
Union mainly over the definition of amateur status of cyclists proposed by the SCU. Some clubs in the west of Scotland
supported the SCU stand and a new organisation, the SAAU was formed. In 1895 and 1896 the SAAU held its own champs,
including the 10 miles in 1896. In 1896, Hay won the SAAA title and Hannah won the SAAU title.
Note: For 1906, Jack's time was also reported as 54:42.8.
